We had an insanely successful night at the Woodbridge Invite! The long bus ride and late night was rewarded with perfect weather and 98% PRs! Team Highlights – In the red division races, our Freshman boys got 6th place, Freshman girls 4th place, Sophomore girls 3rd place, Varsity Boys 3rd place and our Varsity girls 1st!
Colin McCormick’s 15:29 got onto the record boards with our 9th fastest Woodbridge time!
Our Varsity Girls Completely rewrote the record board with Phoebe Benun’s 17:35 getting 2nd all time for Woodbridge as well as over all courses! We also had Francesca Whited, Cleo Topp and Hawene Alomayehu getting 7th, 8th and 9th all time with their 18:28, 18:32 and 18:32!
Speaking of our Varsity Girls….after the 2 day, 10,000 runner meet was complete, they finished with the 34th best team time! It was easily the best women’s team performance Samo has ever had! Here’s a few video interviews of our Race Winner Phoebe Benun!
