Over the long weekend, Samohi sent six athletes to the California Indoor State meet in Fresno, and all performed admirably. Of our six star runners, three finished top-10 in State, with Ariel Silverman finishing 8th in the Girls 600 Yard Dash and Lucas Jackson coming in 7th in the Boys 1 Mile. However, Marcel Espinoza outshone everybody on Monday, becoming the Indoor State 300 Meter Dash Champion, and setting a meet record while laying down a blistering time of 36.29 seconds! Congratulations to all Samo participants, and may the early success translate into a dominant track season! Go Vikings!
