Despite the terrible circumstances on Thursday, SAMO athletes overcame and ran incredible at league finals! Without a proper warmup, high stress situation and half the team running in the wrong races, we had 36 lifetime bests! And several sprinters running a full 3 miles for the first time! We couldn’t be more proud with how everyone handled themselves!

Congratulations to Colin McCormick for grabbing 10th place and qualifying as an individual for CIF Prelims! He’ll be racing in Heat 1 at 11:21am! He has to finish in the top 6 to advance to Finals!
Our Varsity girls finish the season ranked 6th in Division 1 to qualify for CIF Prelims! They will run in Heat 3 at 10:48am. They must finish top 4 in their heat to move on.
