Phoebe Benun ran 16:54 for 3miles at the Woodbridge Invitational to break the Cross Country School Record! She is currently ranked 6th in Division 1 and 22nd in all of California! With this performance and the 1600 record she got in the Spring, Phoebe is well on her way to becoming Santa Monica High School’s greatest ever female distance runner! Congrats Phoebe!

THURSDAY 9/14 from 4pm-6pm we will be having our Shoe Night at Road Runner Sports! Not only is this a fundraiser for the team, but a good time to get racing flats or training shoes! All Info is on the flier below. We’ll do our pre-meet at practice and then head on over.

Woodbridge Invite

FRIDAY 9/15 we will be going to the Woodbridge Invite! This is among the biggest meets in the country with over 11,000 kids over 2 days from multiple states!

The bus will leave SAMO at 1pm. It will return 11/1130pm.

Schedule is below. We will be in the RED division. Our Varsity Boys will be Red-B. Anyone running over 24:00 will run the NOVICE races. Our top 7 Varsity Girls will run Saturday night in the Sweepstakes race.
